Hey fam! Been away for awhile because I had to have an Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (seriously). But don’t worry, my taste buds are still intact and better than ever.
So to get back in the swing of things, I want to point out a South Jersey staple that’s close to my heart, Ciconte’s in West Deptford.
Never before had I tried breaded chicken on pizza, but Lauren opened my eyes and soul to the wonders and possibilities. So, the clutch pizza I’m talking about is their white pizza with breaded chicken, spinach, garlic and tomatoes. But I don’t have a pic, because I ate it too fast. Sorry. Sue me.
Luckily, I tried a bunch of their other pizzas that I ate a little slower.
It’s pizza, so I’m not even gonna dig into the details of each but suffice it to say that I ate every single bite of these before the night was done.
First up was the Ranch Romano: spinach, bacon, ranch, and tomato, the good ol’ fashioned sausage, and cheesesteak – hoagie pizza with American cheese and tomato. Then I tried the meatball parm pizza and finally a tomato and broccoli slice.
Obviously this mini-smorgasbord was overwhelming, mostly because the love you can taste in every bite makes you want to hurry up and take another. So much love.
Anyone in the Woodbury/ West Deptford/ Thorofare portion of NJ definitely needs to stop by and see what my people at Ciconte’s Italia Pizza have to offer. They also have locations in Swedesboro, Glassboro, Marlton, and Gibbstown.
