Before I put down roots in Denver, I spent two months driving all over Colorado with my roommate looking for a home. During our travels we also stumbled upon a magical place called Jordan’s. This breakfast/lunch spot is basically the size of a shed and planted on the side of the road in Arvada, CO. However, what it lacks in size it makes up for in phenomenal food.
Ever had one of those mornings where all you want is breakfast sandwich? Maybe some good vibes? Well they’re serving up both of those at this majestic eatery. We happen to arrive right after the breakfast cut off but fortunately for us the cooks there were nice enough to whip us up a couple of breakfast sandwiches.
Their sandwich style is bacon, egg and cheese on texas toast enjoyed outside with a cool breeze and warm sunshine. The egg was cooked perfectly allowing just the right amount of drip to; put your hands up on my hips when I dip, you dip, we dip the remaining sandwich into it.
That breakfast sandwich put us in such a state of zen we spent ten minutes trying to unlock a car that wasn’t mine. I shit you not it took two adults far too long to find the right car in a parking lot that only had three cars. If that’s not a sign of a good sandwich I don’t know what is.
