indystar.com – On Friday morning, two women were captured on video fighting with employees of a north-side restaurant after climbing through the drive-thru window.
The fight occurred over an order of McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets at the Indianapolis restaurant at the corner of North Meridian and 16th streets
It’s just the latest incident of customers — and others — behaving badly at fast-food restaurants.
(Police say Indianapolis 500 pole-winner Scott Dixon and former race winner Dario Franchitti were robbed at gunpoint while in an Indianapolis Taco Bell)
Here’s a look at some other incidents here and elsewhere.
Alligator thrown through window at Wendy’s
In February 2016, a Florida man was arrested and accused of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and other charges, after police say he threw a 3½-foot alligator through the drive-thru window at an employee of a Wendy’s restaurant.
Joshua James, 23, of Jupiter, allegedly pulled up to the drive-thru window for his order, got a drink from the employee, and then threw the alligator into the restaurant, according to media reports. The incident occurred at a restaurant east of Loxahatchee, Fla., in October 2015, but James wasn’t arrested until several months later.
No word on what inspired his fast-food freak out.
Marine gunned down at McDonald’s drive-thru
A 25-year-old Marine veteran was gunned down this spring in an apparent road-rage shooting at a McDonald’s in Bedford, Ind.
Justin N. Lampkins, 25, was fatally shot about 1:20 a.m. April 23 in the drive-thru lane outside a McDonald’s at 3302 16th St., Bedford Police said. Evan Schaffer, 22, Orleans, was arrested for murder in Lampkins’ death.
According to witnesses, Lampkins and his passengers were getting ready to place their order, when Lampkins was attacked. A large man — a passenger in a vehicle near the head of the line — became angry when someone honked a horn. He stepped out of his vehicle, walked up to Lampkins and punched him through the car window. Lampkins then stepped out of his truck, and the other man turned and shot him.
Okay I already knew you could see some of the most random things in a drive-thru but…FLYING ALLIGATORS?! WTF
