Exquisite. One word to sum up my experience here at The Former Four Seasons restaurant. Twas truly a Culinary delight to end the year on.
Kicked things off with a Yellowfin Tuna app, Watermelon and Mango cocktails. Yellowfin Tuna was marvelous and luxurious. Every bite felt illustrious. Walk -out -in the -finest -bathrobes -all -day -to the mall -to shop- type -swag.
Then these fools came through with some Bread with Butter under Salmon on the side, like “Yo we just love treating your taste buds like a Michael Bay Movie set and BLOW SHIT UP, cuz we got the BUDGET”.
Over the Top dip with bread-absolutely-but it was a magnificent experience. Anybody could warm bread, with some butter on the side. Adding Salmon….ya got this Young Grubber..”Hook. Line. Sinker…”(sounds like Jeremy Irons from Die Hard With A Vengeance).
Dungeness Crab Rice had that buttery soft taste but not the cheap movie theater butter drenched Red Lobster type variety. It was a sophisticated, layered approach that one appreciates when gorging one self, like they have 8 a$$hole$.
The Halibut was extra moist but never felt like I was eating an over grown piece of sashimi.
The spinach…(y’all really think Ima go in-depth with spinach.) It was Good.
The service was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my young life. They don’t let you lift a finger let alone, walk to the restroom alone. Which is cool too because it’s a big dimly lit place, and after seeing all my fellow Caucasian patrons I didn’t want to wake up in the Sunken Place if I took a wrong turn.
Decor is tremendously simplistic but elegant. I guess if you have a pool in the middle of your dining room what more could you really do after.
“Unable to perceive the shape of you, I find you all around me. Your presence fills my eyes with your love. It humbles my heart, for you are everywhere.”
-The Shape of Water
