First-Ever Special Event in NYC Spotlights Offerings from Every Club Under One Roof Saturday April 21 & Sunday April 22

If you have ever dreamed of having a New England Lobster Roll from Fenway Park, a Chicken Waffle Cone from Minute Maid Park and a Churro Dog from Chase Field all in the same day, Major League Baseball is about to make your dream come true…and you won’t have to travel 3,000 miles between ballparks to do it.

To celebrate the start of the 2018 season, MLB presents the first-ever MLB FoodFest on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22 in New York City, near Bryant Park. The one-of-a kind indoor food festival features special selections from each of the 30 Clubs served under one roof. Every Club designated one concession item to represent them at MLB FoodFest.

Featured fare ranges from ballpark classics to stadium-exclusive fan favorites to original menu items debuting this season. New options unveiled in 2018 and available at MLB FoodFest include Cleveland’s Flamethrower pulled pork sandwich, Gioia’s Hot Salami Sandwich from St. Louis, Milwaukee’s Cheddar Beer Bratwurst, the Monte Khrush Davis Cristo sandwich served in Oakland, the South Side Horseshoe sausage sandwich from the White Sox and the Adobo Bao bun available at Yankee Stadium.

Ballpark menus have come a long way from just hot dogs, pretzels and soft-serve ice cream. Competition at the concession stands has become as intense as the competition on the field with teams trying to bring the best one-of-a-kind offerings to their fans. Many clubs collaborate with acclaimed chefs to create exclusive culinary options to make their ballpark experience distinctive and memorable.

MLB FoodFest is a unique interactive experience spanning two floors and over 20,000 square feet. The special event is open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and each ticket grants access to the space for a designated two-hour block.

  • 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Fans have two options for ticket purchases, which must be secured online, prior to arrival at the venue: Food for $25 and Food & Beer for $40. The Food & Beer tickets include three beer vouchers. Anyone purchasing and using a Food & Beer ticket must be 21 or older. Each ticket includes one tasting-sized serving of all 30 ballpark food items. Soft drinks and water are complimentary.

In addition to the food available, MLB FoodFest contains interactive exhibits and art including the Hot Dog Room presented by Nathan’s Famous, the Official Hot Dog of MLB, as well as the Popcorn Pit, a Clubhouse Bar serving craft and light beer selections from Anheuser-Busch (Food and Beer Ticket required for beer), and great baseball-themed lounge to eat and drink. Fans attending the event are encouraged to post their experience and images with #MLBFoodFest.
