krqe.com – ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Federal authorities say an Albuquerque man robbed a fast food restaurant multiple times until employees fought back.
According to court documents, 24-year-old Lorenzo Desantiago committed two armed robberies this month at the Taco Bell-KFC at Central and Coors.
Officials say he tried a third time, nearly two weeks ago.
Desantiago allegedly fired a shot in the restaurant, walked inside the kitchen, and got into an altercation with two employees.
He lost the gun and took off.
Desantiago was eventually arrested.
So, I guess the moral of this story is, i actually don’t even know if this story has a moral. I mean damn, 2 successful robberies then 1 thwarted attempt. I commend this man for his first 2 attempts. Well done. You know the saying “Dont fix whats not broke?” Well that was his mentality here. Robbed you once, im going in again, robbed you again, boom let’s make it a hat trick.
