fox10tv.com – (Meredith) – A Montana man was arrested after police said he filled a water cup with soda and then started a fight with a worker who tried to stop him.
Daniel Robert Stine, 48, is charged with felony robbery, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass, according to KTMF-TV.
The Missoula Police Department said Stine entered the restaurant Thursday afternoon and asked for a cup of water, but instead filled it with soda. When an employee told him he needed to pay, Stine reportedly walked out of the building.
Police said the employee followed Stine to the parking lot, urging him not to return. Then, Stine turned around and tried to kick the employee before walking away.
Responding officers later found Stine hiding in the restroom at another restaurant nearby. Police said Stine began to resist arrest, which prompted an officer deployed his stun gun.
