Flashback Friday: Rigatonis Famous Crabcakes

On episode 2 of JGTV the Grubbin’ crew went down to Delaware to chop it up with our good pal George Marmalis, the owner of Rigatonis Famous Crabcakes. We’ve had the pleasure of meeting George on multiple occasions at various food truck festivals, which also prompted Lauren to write his glowing review. After stopping by his truck at the Roxborough Night Market and catching up, he told us to come on in and try some of the items at his brick and mortar location, that aren’t on the food truck menu. Don’t threaten us with a good time damnit, so we made our way there on a cool Monday night.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by George Marmalis and his head cook/business partner but more importantly we were welcomed by the intoxicating almost glorious aroma of seafood being cooked to perfection. We sat down and begin perusing the extensive menu and decided on the Cream of Crab Soup, Jr. Supreme Crab Pretzel (Regular Crab Pretzel with 2- 1oz Crab Balls, Crab Cake Sauce & Old Bay), the Crabby Fries (Crispy Fries Seasoned with Old Bay, Topped with Homemade Crab Dip, Cheddar, Monterey Jack Cheese, Baked to Perfection), and fish tacos.

The consensus among the group was “this is simply the best seafood around”, if you don’t believe us go see for yourself! Rigatoni’s also has other locations in Middletown, Delaware, and Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.
