wptv.com – PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Police say a 23-year-old man tried to trade a bag of marijuana for fast food at McDonald’s.
According to Port St. Lucie police, Anthony Gallagher went to the drive-thru at the restaurant in the 3100 block of SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard around 2 a.m. on Sunday.
He tried to give a worker a baggie of marijuana in exchange for food, police said. The worker refused and the suspect drove off.
Police said Gallagher went through the drive-thru a second time. That’s when an officer made contact with him and noticed a heavy odor of marijuana coming from his car.
According to police, they found 11 grams of marijuana on Gallagher.
He admitted to trying to exchange marijuana for food as a joke, police said.
Gallagher is facing several charges including possession of marijuana and DUI.
Okay I will say this first….Anthony if i was working that drive thru not only would you have gotten that food but also a new client…full disclosure. Here’s where you lost me though Ant, what in the entire fuck were you thinking that you thought to yourself ” I should definitely go back around though and get these nuggets”….I mean I get the munchies hitting you something serious but after getting declined by what sounds like a nervous employee it was prob best for your ass to head on down to Wendys or BK. If he was really smart he woulda pulled this at Popeyes…just saying a bag of weed around 2 AM at Popeyes can go a longggg way.
