usatoday.com – Taco Bell is bringing back its most successful menu item for a limited time.
Fan favorite Nacho Fries return to restaurants nationwide on Jan. 24, nearly a year after they first debuted, the fast-food chain announced Thursday in a “leaked memo.”
“We’ve heard our fans loud and clear – they’ve made waves across social media, demanding that we bring back our famous fries,” said the memo from “Your Chief Fryologist” sent to “Taco Bell Fryologists.”
Dan Coyle, of Franklin Park, Illinois, was one of those fans. He tweeted to Taco BellWednesday asking for the fries to be brought back “pretty please.”
Ten minutes later, he got a one word response from the official Taco Bell Twitter account: “Soon.”

“The fries are always seasoned perfectly and never soggy, when dipped in the cheese it’s the perfect combination,” Coyle told USA TODAY. “Something about the seasoning has me addicted to them.”
