Mobile apps for real estate management
You may have heard the term PropTech or digital projects in the real estate market. It refers to mobile applications and BMS platforms with cloud-based answers that help property management experts organize their work, increase efficiency, and reduce the paperwork associated with property management.
PropTech also makes The Source by Aldar properties more attractive to residents looking for tech solutions and innovative products.
Digital projects include online or automated rent payments, accessing documents such as lease agreements through cloud-based service and messaging apps, and obtaining necessary push notifications and announcements.
You may have already utilized some of these services. You may have even added a few online solutions to help you get things done. But you can probably do much more to move into property management through mobile apps and simplify your work.
What we mean by mobility
It all comes down to the work you can get done by simply pulling out your mobile phone or tablet and relating to the internet.
Property managers typically use three online solutions: mobile websites, apps, and platforms.
Mobile apps
An app is a simplified schedule with a powerful UX feature that can be downloaded or updated from an app store. There are apps for tracking payroll, paying rent, listing and renting apartments, creating work orders, and even maintaining the pH in your complex’s pool.
Platforms
It’s just another way to deliver software to users. The platforms are accessible through your regular web browser (and sometimes through related applications) with a login and password. Instead of regularly downloading and updating software, you can work online without stopping up your hard drive and store everything on the cloud.
Mobile property management
You’re probably already using some of these options in your business. For example, you may have uploaded all your rental documents to a folder on Google Drive that you’ve integrated with your email service, 1C that helps with bookkeeping, Facebook or Twitter for marketing, and email for constant communication.
But you can do more. Some apps can be incorporated into almost every part of your property management business.
You may ask, why would you want to do that? Think of all the time you spend in the office reviewing paper files or speaking to residents about issues that could be solved online.
Mobility helps you get out of the office to do other tasks. It can also reduce costs through better management and save your residents time, but that’s not all.
So largely goes into selling your company, from email marketing and social media to conventional sponsorships and brochures. But some apps can help you automate at least some of your marketing efforts.
For example, resident or real estate showcase apps are great for raising awareness of your business and attracting potential clients. They can also help you schedule and track postings to your accounts.
