Passport 35 is a fun way to taste wine in an informal setting wherein guests mix and mingle, share stories about their wine experiences and wine travels all while being introduced to new varietals and vintages. Another unique aspect to Passport 35 is that all wines tasted are available for purchase that night. Guests can add to their wine cellar or perhaps select some wine for gifts. All wines are heavily discounted, usually the lowest price in the area for the wines sold.
Bistro Romano has been recognized by Wine Spectator and received the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence (Two Glasses), for its Wine List. Owner Michael Granato and his wife, Joette have long been travelling and collecting wine for their list and have established relationships with winemakers and winery owners worldwide. “To have the ability to pick up the phone and invite a winemaker or winery owner to the restaurant, to meet one-on-one with our guests, sign bottles and simply share stories on wine is an experience second to none.” “And being able to offer that wine to our guests at a deep discount without having to order it or send them someplace else, well that is one-stop shopping and in today’s busy world, that is key.”
Wine is always on the menu at Bistro Romano. The Bistro Wine Bar features a happy hour Monday thru Thursday, live piano music on Friday & Saturday and the Bistro Wine Shoppe is open 7 days a week, featuring discounted wines to purchase to go.
